Arrival in Sofia. Meet and greet with the guide at the airport. Transfer to the city center for a city tour including a visit of Alexander Nevski Cathedral and St. George Rotunda. Breakfast. Departure for Serbia. On the way visit to the city of Niš – walking tour along the central pedestrian street and visit of Niš Fortress. Arrival in Belgrade in the late afternoon. DAY 4 |
Breakfast. Walking tour in Belgrade from the Republic Square along the main pedestrian street to Kalemegdan Park and the Belgrade Fortress with its picturesque panorama towards Sava and Danube rivers. Optional half-day tour to Novi Sad – second largest city in Serbia, European capital of culture 2022: walking tour in the historic center of Novi Sad and visit to Petrovaradin Fortress – one of the most imposing fortifications of the Habsburg empire, also known as “Gibraltar on the Danube”. Optional dinner. Overnight in Belgrade.

Breakfast. Check-out and departure for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Arrival in Sarajevo in the afternoon. Sightseeing tour of Sarajevo – the old Ottoman bazaar of Bashcharshiya, Latin bridge, Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral. Accommodation, optional dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.

Breakfast. Drive to the beautiful town of Mostar. Photo break at the Old Bridge – built by the Ottomans in the 16th century. Departure for Split Riviera in Croatia. Accommodation, optional dinner and overnight in the area of Split.

Breakfast. Visit to Roman emperor Diocletian’s palace which is the heart of the nowadays city – walking tour around the squares – Peristyle, People's, Fruit, Republican. Walking tour in Trogir – museum town where you can admire the narrow streets, Romanesque and Gothic architecture and of course the spectacular St. Lawrence cathedral. Optional dinner. Overnight in the area of Split.
DAY 8 |
Breakfast. Check-out the hotel and departure for Plitvice Lakes National Park – one of the most beautiful and best-preserved natural areas in the country. Visit to the lakes following one of the main tourist routes. Drive to Zagreb. In the evening – accommodation, optional dinner and overnight in Zagreb.
DAY 9 |
Breakfast. Walking tour in Zagreb (approx. 2 hours): the biggest Catholic cathedral in Croatia, Dolac market, mediaeval Stone Gate, St. Mark's church, Ban Josip Jelačić central square. In the afternoon – time at leisure in the Croatian capital. Optional dinner. Overnight in Zagreb.
